YesterdayPoint taken and there are some grubs out in the world but there is obviously going to be bodily fluids being deposited or smeared on the furniture ... do they have washable covers or as in nudist colonies does everyone have a towel ? - while I can see the benefit of being more comfortable in awkward positions I would hesitate to climb up on said lounge if there were obvious stains and smears ...

YesterdayYes, of course most come with stain resistant, washable, or wipeable covers... It would be terrible business practice not to.
Similar to scotch guarding but usually even more easy to keep clean, or fully removable to chuck in the wash.
It was the skid mark comment that got me though. Sex mess is a thing, sure, but skidmarks, for the most part, are from men not knowing how to wipe their butts properly. It's a very common thing unfortunately.
Many men have this odd, ingrained idea that bums are gay and therefore if you touch a bum, even your own, you're probaby gay ...
The number of women I know who have literally had to teach their adult men husbands and partners how to clean their bums is as sad as it is funny .
Wipe your ass. It won't make you gay.
