Top 5 Sex Positions for Anal Sex
According to our Under the Covers Sex Survey 69% of Aussie men and 45% of Aussie women fantasise about anal sex. And thanks to our friends at Pornhub we know that it’s the fifth most common search term for men and the eighth most common for women.
So what are the best positions to explore & enjoy anal sex? We covered taking it slowly and sexual health issues in a separate blog article so let's assume everyone is keen for some back door action, you've done the prep and used plenty of lube. Different positions will work best for different people depending on body shape, fitness and their likes / dislikes but there are a few positions which work really well.
Magic Mountain
Start off by constructing your mountain by piling firm pillows one on top of the other. The mountain needs to be high enough so that when the receiver lies on them face down there is a natural arch in their back. The penetrating partner enters from behind (with their legs on the outside of the receiver's legs) and forms to the shape of the receiving partner with their chest on their back and arms resting on the receiver's arms. We love this position - it's a great angle with lots of skin to skin contact.
The Curled Angel
Think spooning, but like when you bend the spoon while trying to dig out ice cream that’s frozen solid.
This intimate position is very comfortable for both of you as you’re lying down on your side and enjoying plenty of skin-to-skin contact. So what lubes? We asked Max Black, Sydney's favourite adult store for their advice.
If it's just partners for play then a good quality silicone lube will be what you need. Max recommends Super Slyde because it's smooth, light, incredibly slick and ultra long-lasting.
If you're playing with silicone toys you're best sticking to a water-based lube and it should be one that is a little thicker so it doesn't dry out too fast. Astroglide's natural gel is a good pic but if you like a wetter feel try Wicked Aqua Sensitive which has a pump top that makes application easy.
Max also recommends trying one of their anal comfort products to make play easier and more pleasurable. Avoid numbing creams as these can mask problems and instead reach for formulas that will prepare the skin and pleasure spots for penetration and get you ready for fun much faster. Their favourite at the moment is Pjur's Back Door Spray which works by making the skin more elastic and supple with less sensitivity. Plus it's condom safe, just like all of our lubes.

More than a month agoI think that article is great but don't cover many more facts regarding anal sex, in my opinion there are too many unmentioned things on that article, LIKE, the age, size of both partners and the health conditions are all important to talk about when it comes to anal sex,
the most critical point is the size of mans penis and the female size and shape matter too to choose a suitable comfortable and pleasurable anal sex sexperince,
SO I don't think male with relatively small penis can do it with relatively large female standing and or missionary and or ridding the saddle and surely cant do the curled angel positions....,
however I believe that doggy style is the master of anal sex, and the most suitable position when it comes to anal sex, its also full of hot views and grabs and definitely can be as deep as pleasing to her irrespective to either partners body or gentiles sizes, thanks for reading
