Can you wear a butt plug all day?

I don’t know about you, but for me, there's always been something a little extra naughty and taboo about anal play. Maybe it's the generation I was born into (not quite prudes, but long before the internet corrupted us all) or maybe it's just the fact that it IS a little bit kinkier than your basic sexual playtime, but butt play and other anal activities certainly still has that giggly, sneaky, secretive taboo-ness to it for many people.

So imagine that feeling. That naughty, sexy, kinky little feeling you get from wearing and playing with anal plugs... And then imagine taking that out of the bedroom and into the big, bad world (where nobody knows but you).

You could be lining up at the supermarket checkout, or dropping some papers off at the office. Maybe you're taking a nice walk in the park, or reading the newspaper at your local cafe.

But deep inside... snug, tight, maybe even vibrating a little, is a plug.

A hidden, sneaky, sexy little plug... and nobody else knows about it.. But  you've been wearing it all day..

First Things First - The Ins and Outs

Before you do get into the fun of an all-day, or at least long-term, wear it's important to do a number of things. Firstly, probably have a bit of anal play and butt plug experience before your big adventure.

This may sound obvious to many, but some people just don't quite understand the difference between wearing say a vaginal egg all day and wearing an all day anal plug. They are VERY different experiences, and one will not prepare you for the other. You need to get used to what your butt likes, how it feels and reacts when plugged,  and how your body works and reacts to insertion, wearing, and the eventual removal. Trust me. You'll want to know all these things.

Make sure the plug is made from a body-safe material like silicone or stainless steel, but also be aware of the toy's weight and centre of balance too. Too heavy can become an issue for long term wear, as can too light. Or too thin or too fat might also pose some issues.. Hence the above advice of knowing your plugs and your butt well first.

Absolutely 100% make sure the toy you are using has a flared base. Again, it sounds obvious, but the flare itself needs to be wider than the widest girth of the plug itself. Especially for long term wear and movement.

Start with smaller sizes and shorter outings and gradually work your way up.

Don't push yourself beyond your comfort zone; listen to your body's cues. If the plug wants out, take it out.

Silicone lube is your friend. Do not use numbing agents, but relaxants - like the stuff from the Pjur Analyse Me range - can be really good for both comfort and pleasure.

Men! It's Good For You!

So as well as the kinky secret and the sexy sensations, did you know there are actually a few real benefits that wearing a butt plug for an extended duration can bring to your life? Especially for men. And especially in their later years.

According to several studies, anal play and anal stimulation can be vital in men's prostate health and wellbeing. The wearing of the plug helps to strengthen the pelvic floor muscles, which in turn helps strengthen the prostate.

The added stimulation and sexual release from the prostate during anal play is also instrumental in cancer prevention and other men's health issues.

It's also really good for the female pelvic floor too (especially the back wall we often forget about).

Wearing a plug for an extended length of time also stimulates nerve endings and other sensitive areas in the butt and vagina, which then leads to heightened sensations during other sexual activities, and can turn ordinary orgasms into mind-blowing, toe-curling multiple levels.

Remote Control and Smart Phones

These days there is an app for everything and that includes your sex toys. Every range or style of toy you can think of will now come with some sort of wireless control system you can download from the internet and for long term butt plug wear this can be just the thing to spice it up a little and change the game.

Whether you have the control or you hand it over to someone else (and these days it can literally be anyone anywhere on the world as long as they have an internet connection) the excitement of secret vibrations and pulsing on those quiet moments on your bus trip, or while you're choosing which shampoo to buy can turn an ordinary day into an extraordinary sexcapade of delicious, hidden pleasure and perfect, private moments.... In public.

In saying that, please do be aware that consent absolutely matters and in situations here you are being sexually active in front of people who have not consented to it, you need to make sure they DO NOT KNOW.

It is actually a form of sexual assault to do otherwise and while you might be having the sexy time of your life, someone else is just trying to read a book, so it is crucial to be aware of your surroundings, and who is in them.

I'd love to hear your stories and experiences in the comments.

I was once wearing a little plug in public but it was too small and popped out lol! Lucky I was wearing underwear to catch it. I had to quickly push it back in and keep walking haha

Sounds delicious ... a lady friend spent time in the US and came back with an oddly shaped rubber plug - she never wore panties and often walked about with the plug inside her what I loved was when we played at some stage the plug was ejected very naturally and sometimes with force ..

I've worn plugs, never all day or nite either, but for 3hours at a time ive worn them. It began as a request made by someone I was dating/seeing for a time, it did however boost the level of excitement i was feeling at the time and so ,as far as I was concerned ,it was a bonus for me at that time.
