The Sydney Convicts are Australia’s first gay Rugby Union team. The team was founded in 2004 with the aim of representing Sydney in the World Cup of gay Rugby, the Mark Bingham Cup, in which we achieved a rank of third in the world.
The Convicts are committed to building a competitive, social and diverse club and welcome players regardless of their sexual orientation, ethnicity, age or playing experience.
