QSAM (Queer Sports Alliance Melbourne) is an umbrella group comprising clubs and individuals involved in Melbourne's queer sports and recreation scene.

QSAM is about:
- encouraging members of our community to get active with a sport or recreation club
- sharing information, knowledge and expertise
- creating safe places for members and friends of the queer community to explore the opportunities offered by sport and recreation
- realising sport and recreation as an agent for social change; and
- facilitating participation in international queer sporting events.

QSAM encourages offers of assistance from individuals and those involved in sport and recreation clubs in project areas such as women in sport, positive people in sport, officials, homophobia and sponsorship.

QSAM is creating access to sport and recreation for people of all abilities and ages.
