I really just wanted to give hope to all those people out there who think that many of the people on "these internet sites" are dirty, sleazy, slutty ... people. Take a chance! If someone sparks your interest take a chance to meet them in real life. Meet somewhere very public (to be safe) and make it a coffee or drink just in case it doesn't work out. (A long dinner with someone you don't get along with can get very uncomfortable.) Be mature about it. If you don't click when you meet them then say something... chances are he/she doesn't like you that way either! You can both have a good laugh about it and gossip about other AMM people you might have met or exchange stories about other encounters. Be honest to the other person as well. The least you can do is be truthful and respectful. If all you are after is one intimate encounter then say so. Here's my story... On December 9th 2003 I received an AMM message from a guy who I'd winked after looking at his profile. He'd written enough to intrigue me even though he had no photo. We exchanged emails and the next day we met for coffee and a bit of daytime fun! I was on the Gold Coast for two weeks with only one week to go when I met him. I was just looking for a holiday fling but as each day passed and we spent more and more time with each other we realised we had more in common with each other than just our libido's! I flew back home to Melbourne for Xmas and by February 2004 I was living with him back on the Gold Coast. I joined him in business and this year went travelling with him for 6 months overseas.
