seven mile beach

A True Story

Summer in Sydney; sultry, scorching and wet. After an absence from my lover, we re-unite in the Shoalhaven to holiday at the beach.

We set out for an afternoon swim, descending the steep stairway as the sea shimmers and sparkles before us. The tide is low and the waves crash gently onto the shore. Together we find ourselves wading ankle deep in the water, falling down into the soft sand, me straddling you seductively. We are completely oblivious to anyone or anything around us as we kiss passionately, transporting me to a place outside of myself.

A combination of the sun's blinding brightness, the feeling of the oceans soft caress over our entwined bodies and the sensuous smell of the salt water.

This has never happened to me before, but i am floating somewhere above myself. Or am I melting into you? We move as one, unconsciously, hurriedly, starving for each others touch like vultures at a corpse.

I do not know how long this lasts in real time. However, for me, it is as if time and space have coalesced, cancelling out each other, just as our bodies and, seemingly, our Souls, do the same.

This experience is forever emblazoned on my psyche as the most mind blowing sexual encounter of my life, even though we do not have penetrative sex. Upon reflection, it seems to fit the description of a tantric session, multiplied by one hundred. We, my partner and me, both agree on this and, as such, enjoy remembering that blissful and euphoric afternoon.
