The Gangsters’ Ball
A lot of people ask "what exactly is the Gangsters' Ball"? Well for starters it is not a sit-down theatre show. It is a faithful recreation of a 1930’s style Prohibition era Speakeasy Club with dancing, gambling and of course, old fashioned fun! We encourage attendees to partake in every aspect of the show and experience all the fun and mayhem of 1930’s & 40's entertainment and culture.
A fully themed night of interactive non-stop entertainment, The Gangsters’ Ball will bring to life the fashion, style, humour and classic merriment of the 1930s and 40s. Modern day mobsters and molls can step back in time to a bygone era to a time when men wore three-piece suits and fedoras, women wore feathers and pill box hats, big bands ruled the airwaves and gangsters ruled the streets.
Featuring some of the biggest names in Australian & International Cabaret, Vaudeville, Magic, Burlesque and Big Band Swing, this is an event like no other and one not to be missed.
Each year more than 3,000 gangsters, molls and flappers attend The Gangsters' Ball shows in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. Now The Gangsters’ Ball is set to launch globally with plans underway for shows in Europe, Asia and America - including nightly casino shows in Las Vegas.
Every show features Australia’s best swing & vintage era DJs, The Gambling Den - with Poker, Roulette and Black Jack tables, pin-up models, merchandise stalls, cocktail bars, a vintage styling parlour and 1930’s theme photo booth.
